These type of issues are keeping me inspired and challenging me at the exact same time. I have already began to create targets for 2021 so I won't be preventing anytime soon!"

Ta Trecia Davis, 47, of Pickerington, is co-ambassador of Dark Women Work! Columbus Chapter.  She has been working for five years and has been doing four marathons and sixteen 1/2 marathons, including Columbus twice.

"Just before the pandemic hit, I was bottom instruction for my huge competition of the season (TCS) New York Town Marathon. The shutdown and the pandemic was included with plenty of stress and anxieties. COVID-19 took the life span of my small nephew and my great friend's parents all within several days apart. It had been damaging and psychologically difficult, understanding I couldn't be there for my love ones. Therefore for weeks, I used reasons for maybe not running.  My instructor encouraged me to get back to working to greatly help manage strain and keep the defense mechanisms in check.

Being fully a motivator, encourager, and one that looks to stimulate the others, I got back again to doing what I love to do. It began with 100 miles for per month that easily changed into doing a function streak. My 2020 targets have changed, it's about survival while empowering the dark neighborhood to become healthier. We all know this virus is having a significant affect within my community. Running isn't ended, or is our ability to increase the running community.
